A Mexican film director and screenwriter, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. He made the feature films “Güeros” (2014), which won the best first feature award at the Berlin and Havana film festivals, “Museo” (2018), winner of best screenplay prize at the Berlin International Film Festival, and “A Cop Movie” (2021), also awarded at the Berlinale for the outstanding artistic contribution.
