Prakash graduated from the LV Prasad Film Academy in Chennai, India, with a specialization in directing, screenwriting, editing, and sound editing. He has directed numerous documentaries for television and music videos. In 2013, he founded his production company, The Zoetrope Company. “Naangal” is his feature film directorial debut.
