Born in Seville, Celia lives in Barcelona, Spain. With a degree in audiovisual communication and in theory and comparative literature, she is a director and screenwriter. She began her film career with the short film “Luisa Is Not Home” (2012), which was screened at the Venice International Film Festival. Her feature film debut was “Journey to a Mother’s Room” (2018), awarded in the section dedicated to new directors at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. “Little Loves” is her second feature film.
