Born in Cali, Colombia, in 1987, he studied at Universidad del Valle. He directed “Land and Shade” (2015, 39th Mostra), premiered at the Cannes Festival Critics’ Week, where it won the Golden Camera, the award for best first feature film of the event. “Horizonte” is his second feature.
