Screenwriter and director from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She began her audiovisual career in 1998 as an assistant director. Since then, she has worked on hundreds of short films, features, TV programs and documentaries that have received numerous awards “Pindorama, the True Story of the Seven Dwarfs” (2007), winner of the audience award for best documentary at the 31st Mostra. As a screenwriter, Chris wrote scripts for series such as “Call me Bruna” (2016-2020) and “Histórias de Adoção” (2016-2017), and for features like “Nise, the Heart of Madness” (2015). “Around the Corner” is her debut as a director in feature films.
