Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1975. He is a film and theater director and teacher. He directed short films such as “A Espera” (2004) and “Lucrecia” (2007, 31st Mostra). “Arid Hearts” (2006), his first feature film, was screened at the 30th Mostra. He is also the director of features like “Symphony of a Lonely Man” (2012, 36th Mostra), “Mataram Meu Irmão” (2013), “Hamlet” (2014), “Hunger” (2015, 39th Mostra), “The Loneliness Night” (2016, 40th Mostra), “Before the End” (2017, 41st Mostra) and “The Mother” (2022, 46th Mostra), awarded at the Málaga Film Festival.
