Polish director, screenwriter, and cinematographer. Kocur is a PhD student and professor at the Lodz Film School. He is the author of several internationally awarded short films. His debut feature film “Bread and Salt” (2022) received the special jury prize in the Horizons section at the Venice International Film Festival. His last short film, “As It Was” (2023), was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. “Under the Volcano” is his second feature film.
