Arun Bhattarai was born in Bhutan in 1985, and Dorottya Zurbó was born in Hungary in 1988. The duo’s first feature-length documentary, “The Next Guardian” (2017), was screened at numerous festivals worldwide, including the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA). Arun also made the short film “Mountain Man” (2019), presented at the IDFA, while Dorottya directed the documentary “Easy Lessons” (2018), exhibited at the Locarno Film Festival and Hot Docs.
