Diretores

Born in Goiânia, Brazil, in 1979. He studied at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, in Cuba. Director and screenwriter, Meira started his career as an assistant to Ruy Guerra in the film “O Veneno da Madrugada” (2004). He directed short films, including “Dolores” (2005), “Atlântico” (2008) and “Hoje Tem Alegria” (2010), and the feature film “Two Irenes” (2017), presented in the Generation Kplus section at the Berlin International Film Festival. “Aunt Virginia” (2023, 47th Mostra) is his second feature film.
