Fernanda holds a degree in psychology from UFRJ, completed a master’s and Ph.D. in performing arts at UNIRIO, and a sandwich Ph.D. at Columbia University. Her primary research focus is the work of the actor/performer and contemporary scene writing. Stage and audiovisual director, among her works are theatrical performances, some of them hybrids with cinema, as well as multimedia projects. Since 2015, she has taught narrative and audiovisual script workshops for Artistic Development at Estúdios Globo, and is currently coordinator and teacher of the Performing Arts course at PUC-RJ.
