Born in Venezuela, he has been based in Brazil since 2016. Torres graduated in directing from La Fémis, in France, and in screenwriting from the American Film Institute, in the USA. He has written scripts for the television series “Irmãos Freitas” (2019) and for features like “Marighella” (2019), by Wagner Moura, and “River of Desire” (2022, 46th Mostra), by Sérgio Machado. In addition to his work as a director in Venezuela, he made the documentary feature film for television “Neojibá – Música que Transforma” (2020).
