Born in Lund, Sweden, in 1965. He studied film at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. The creator of his own super-16mm camera, he has made numerous corporate videos, music videos and documentaries. Olsson is also cofounder of the short documentary television programme “Ikon” (SVT). Among his works are “The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975” (2011), awarded at the Sundance Film Festival and screened at London and CPH:DOX, and “Concerning Violence” (2014), awarded at Berlin International Film Festival and presented at Goteborg and Sheffield.
