Guillaume Brac

French filmmaker, Guillaume Brac studied production at La Fémis. He came to prominence in 2011 with his medium-length film “A World without Women”, which won numerous festival awards before becoming a critical and public success when it was released in cinemas in France. Since then, he explored a wide variety of formats, alternating between short and feature films, fiction and documentary, including “Thunder” (2014), which received a special mention at the Locarno Film Festival, “July Tales” (2017), winner of the Prix Jean Vigo, “Treasure Island” (2018), screened at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and IndieLisboa, “All Hands on Deck” (2021), critic’s honorable mention of the Panorama section at the Berlin International Film Festival, and “Linda and Irina” (2023), which forms a diptych on high school friendships with his most recent work “So Long”.
