Born in Sweden in 1978. She graduated from the Danish Film School as a director in 2011. Her feature debut, “Holiday” (2018), was presented at Sundance and at the 42nd Mostra. Isabella also co-written the script for the film “Border” (2018), by Ali Abbasi, winner of the section Un Certain Regard of the Festival de Cannes, and directed episodes for the television series “The Servant” (2019-2023) and “Industry” (2020-2024). “Kalak” is her second feature film.
