Jean-Claude Monod

Born in France, in 1970, he is a philosopher and director. At 15, he wrote his first feature film screenplay. After being accepted into the École Normale Supérieure, he shifted his focus to philosophy studies, eventually leading him to the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Monod directed three short films and co-directed with the writer Jean-Christophe Valtat the medium-length film “Augustine” (2003). “Girl for a Day” is his debut feature film.
