Canadian director and screenwriter. He made short films like “The Tragic Story of Nling” (2006) and “The Sadness of Johnson Joe Jangles” (2012), presented in film festivals like Sundance, Camerimage and Toronto. St Jules was the first filmmaker from his country to have been selected for the Cannes Festival Residence, during which he developed his feature film debut, “Bang Bang Baby” (2014), which later won the award for best Canadian film at the Toronto International Film Festival. He also directed the feature film “Cinema of Sleep”, in 2021.
