Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1981. He graduated in cinema from Universidade Federal Fluminense. As a screenwriter, he worked with directors such as the Argentine duo Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat in “A Jaula” (2022) and the Portuguese filmmaker Rita Nunes in “The Best of All Worlds” (2024). Zacharias made short films like “Sandra Chamando” (2017) and “Os Últimos Românticos” (2019), presented and awarded at several Brazilian and international film festivals. “Birthright” is his first feature film.
