Juru is an artist-researcher of body arts and cinema, and has a doctorate in arts from UERJ. Juru develops research on body dramaturgy, expanded scene and the queer body in the contemporary scene. Juru worked in the casting preparation for “Com o Terceiro Olho na Terra da Profanação”, by Catu Rizo (2017), and was assistant producer on “Canto dos Ossos”, by Petrus de Bairros and Jorge Polo (2020).
