He is an Indian filmmaker, based in Brussels and Bhopal. His graduation film “Pola” (2012) won the Indian National Student Film Award for best film and script. After working as a second assistant director on the film “Island City” (2015), by Ruchika Oberoi, awarded at Venice International Film Festival, Kinshuk went to pursue his master’s degree at DocNomads. He also made short films like “Divided Lines” (2015) and “The Flandrien” (2017). In 2021, Kinshuk participated in Berlinale Talents with his debut feature documentary “Marching in the Dark”.
