Leos Carax

Born in Suresnes, France, in 1960. One of the most important contemporary French filmmakers, Carax began his career as a film critic and directed a series of short movies, before he released "Boy Meets Girl" (1984), his first feature film. After that, he made "Mauvais Sang" (1986, 12th Mostra), awarded at the Berlinale, "The Lovers on the Bridge" (1991), "Pola X" (1999), a segment of "Tokyo!" (2008, 33rd Mostra) and "Holy Motors" (2012).
