A filmmaker from Bahia based in Paris, she started out in television in the 1990s, when she was still known as Liliane Reis. She made her film debut with the short film “Elle, Marielle Franco” (2021). She is the director and screenwriter of the feature-length documentary film “Miúcha, a Voz da Bossa Nova” (2022), which she co-wrote with Daniel Zarvos and was voted best musical film at IndieLisboa and In-Edit in Mexico. In 2023, she released her second documentary, “Salve, Amigues!”.
