Born in Kunming, China, in 1987. He attended Peking University and the National Higher School of Art in Bourges, France. Yaonan made the short films “Two Days” (2010), “Imminent Death Experience” (2013) and “Incarnation” (2021). “The Great Phuket” is his feature film debut.
