Born in Tunis, in Tunisia, Achour is a writer, director and producer. He studied economics, but, after a family tragedy, decided to be an actor. At the age of 21, he began his training at the Grenoble Conservatory and studied theater and cinema at the Sorbonne Institute of Theatrical Studies, in France. He produced over 25 theatrical works, and, in cinema, he directed short films such as “La Laine sur le Dos” (2016), presented at the Cannes Film Festival, and the feature “Burning Hope” (2016). “Red Path” is his second feature film.
