A Palestinian filmmaker from Gaza, Ahmed holds a degree in directing and screenwriting from the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts of Manuobah (ISAMM), in Tunisia, and a master’s degree in film editing from the Higher School of Audiovisual and Cinema (ESAC), of Gammarth, also in Tunisia. He has directed short films, including the documentary “The War Inside Us” (2019) and the fiction “Matchstick” (2020).
