Filmmaker and composer, he directed short films like “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” (2006) and “Sleeping Hammock” (2010), and the features “When I Was Alive” (2014) and “The Silence of the Sky” (2016). With Juliana Rojas, he made short movies such as “The White Sheet” (2004) and “A Stem” (2007), awarded at the Cannes Critics’ Week and the feature films “Hard Labor” (2011), presented at the Cannes Film Festival, and “Good Manners” (2017, 41st Mostra), winner of the jury special prize at the Locarno Film Festival. He also made, With Caetano Gotardo, “All the Dead Ones” (2020, 44th Mostra), screened at the Berlin International Film Festival. Dutra is part of the collective Filmes do Caixote.
