Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1988. Playwriter, screenwriter and filmmaker, he graduated from the High Art Institute in Cuba and from the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños. As a playwright and theater director, he collaborated with the State Theater of Jena in Germany. He made short films like “Lo que Me Sé de Memoria” (2015), “Rocaman” (2017) and “El Niño de Goma” (2021). “Natural Phenomena” is his first feature film and is based on his homonymous short film from 2016.
