Colombian film director, screenwriter, producer and editor, she studied anthropology and holds a degree in filmmaking and TV. Mónica is also founder of the production company Guerrero Films. She directed the documentary short films “Fidel” (2012), “Two-Spirit” (2021) and “Red Flag” (2023), presented and awarded at film festivals like IDFA. “Soul of the Desert” is her first feature film.
