Born in Hannover, Germany, in 1982. She studied scenography at the University of Applied Arts Karlsruhe and film at the University Torcuato Di Tella, in Buenos Aires. She directed short films such as "Schneeränder" (2009) and "Novios del Campo" (2009), and the feature films "Ricardo Bär" (2013, 37th Mostra), co-directed by Gerardo Naumann and awarded at the FIDMarseille, and “The Future Perfect” (2016, 40th Mostra), winner of the award for best first feature film at the Locarno Film Festival. “Sleep with Your Eyes Open” is the third feature film in the filmmaker’s career.
