Born in Greece, Peretzis studied psychology at Stirling University, in Scotland, film and video directing at UCA, in the United Kingdom, and screenwriting at the London Film School. He directed short films such as “Small Talk” (2007), “Elvin” (2014) and “Mira” (2024), in addition to the documentary feature “Into the Center of the Wheel” (2016). “Riviera” is his second feature film.
