Born in Ceará, Brazil, in 1984. He was part of the Alumbramento group between 2010 and 2016, and currently takes part in the Marrevolto Filmes. He also worked in the sound department in over 60 films. Diógenes directed many short films and the features “The Road to Ythaca” (2010), “The Monsters” (2011), awarded at BAFICI, “At the Wrong Place” (2011, 35th Mostra), “Clenched Fists” (2014, 38th Mostra), presented at the Locarno Film Festival, “The Last Breath” (2016, 40th Mostra), “Inferninho” (2018), screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, “Pajeú” (2018) and “The Clown’s Daughter” (2022, 46th Mostra).
