A Canadian filmmaker, he started out in cinema with documentaries such as “The Heart that Beats” (2012). He transitioned to fiction with “The Demons” (2015), presented in the competition at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Lesage made after “Copenhague – A Love Story” (2016), exhibited at the Göteborg Film Festival, and “Genesis” (2018), presented at Locarno and Rotterdam film festivals.
