Born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1980. She is a director and screenwriter. Pilar graduated in hispanic philology from the University of Zaragoza before took part in the Madrid Film School (ECAM). Her debut feature “Schoolgirls” (2020), premiered in Generation Kplus section at the Berlin International Film Festival and won the best Spanish film prize at the Malaga Film Festival, and her next feature film, “La Maternal” (2022), was awarded at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
