Born in France, Laurent Sourisseau, known as Riss, is a cartoonist, writer, and editor. Since 1992, he has worked for the French magazine Charlie Hebdo. He is internationally recognized for his irreverent, critical, and satirical caricatures. In 2015, he was shot and survived the terrorist attack on the magazine’s Paris headquarters. He is currently the editorial director of the publication. “In God They Trust” is his directorial debut.
