She graduated in cinema from Universidade Federal Fluminense, and has a master’s degree in communication from UFRJ and a doctorate in communication and cinema from UFF. Rosane directed short films and music videos, aside from various television shows and mini-series. She was also the final writer for series and soap operas on TV Globo. Her feature film debut was “Como Ser Solteiro” (1997). She also directed “Mais Uma Vez Amor” (2005), “Desenrola” (2010), “Tainá 3” (2013) and “Pluft” (2022), screened at the 46th Mostra.
