Born in Iran in 1980. Artist and director currently living in Tehran. Between 2008 and 2010, he studied fine arts at the Städelschule, in Frankfurt, Germany. His exhibitions and video works have been shown in various prestigious institutions and museums in London, Los Angeles and Taipei. Fotouhi was also one founder and organiser of the artist initiative and collective Kaf in Tehran. “Boomerang” is his first feature film.
