Born and raised in Himachal Pradesh and currently resides in Mumbai. She has had a long collaboration with filmmaker Pan Nalin as co- writer in “Angry Indian Goddesses” (2015), which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival, and as first assistant director in “Beyond the Known World’ (2017) and “Last Film Show” (2021), presented at the Tribeca Film Festival. “Second Chance” is her debut feature film.
