Graduated in communication from the University of São Paulo. Since 1983, has directed more than 400 advertising films, music videos and DVDs. One of the pioneers of Brazilian video art, had his works exhibited at the Tate Gallery in London and at the São Paulo Bienal. He has directed the documentary “Amazônia Niemeyer – Uma Viagem pela Belém Brasília” (2007) and the documentary series “Amores Expressos”, both exhibited by TV Cultura. He was also one of the directors of the series “Amor em 4 Atos”, exhibited by TV Globo. In partnership with Elaine Cesar, he has directed the documentary “Evoé: Portrait of an Anthropophage” (2011), about the Brazilian actor, playwright José Celso Martinez Corrêa. Jungle is also the director of the fictional feature “Tomorrow Never Again” (2011, 35th Mostra). At the festival, he also screened the short films in virtual reality “Fire in the Forest” (2017, 41st and 43rd Mostras), River of Mud (2016, 41st Mostra), and “Ocupação Mauá” (2018, 42nd Mostra).
