Based in Los Angeles, USA, Taormina is a director, writer and producer. He is one of the leading members of the Omnes Films collective. His films show influences from 1960s European art cinema and 1990s kids’ television. He directed the feature films “Ham on Rye” (2019), which was screened at the Locarno Film Festival, and “Happer’s Comet” (2022), which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and was awarded with the special jury prize at the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI).
