Victória Álvares is a documentary filmmaker from Pernambuco. She holds a degree in Journalism and completed a master’s at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences-Po Paris). Her work mainly focuses on politics, religion, and human rights. She is currently directing the documentary series “Fronteiras”. Together with Quentin Delaroche she directed the feature film, “Bloqueio” (2018), premiered at the Sheffield DocFest and participated in dozens of festivals.
