Vitã is a filmmaker and screenwriter focusing on musicals, LGBTQIA+ narratives and documentaries. She coordinates the Ritornelo creative nucleus and the Moventes magazine. On the ballroom scene, she is empress of the Legendary House of Lauren Brazil. Vitã is a director and screenwriter of the short films “Vuvuzelas de Madureira” (2010), “No dia que lembrei da viagem a Bicuda” (2015) and “Heterônimo” (2016), and also screenwriter for the series “Enredos da Liberdade – O Grito do Samba pela Democracia” (2024).
