Born in Inner Mongolia, China, in 1997, she studied film and television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She directed the short film "Graveyard of Horses" (2022), which was screened at South by Southwest (SXSW) and the BFI London Film Festival. "To Kill a Mongolian Horse" marks her feature directorial debut.
