Yorgos Zois is a Greek director based in Athens. He studied applied math and nuclear physics at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and film direction at Berlin University of the Arts. He also worked as an assistant to Theo Angelopoulos in the film “Dust of Time” (2008, 33rd Mostra). Zois made the short films “Casus Belli” (2010), “Out of Frame” (2012), “8th Continent” (2017) and “Third Kind” (2018), screened in film festivals like Cannes, Venice, Rotterdam, Tokyo and ClermontFerrand. “Interruption” (2015), his first feature film, was presented at the 39th Mostra and in the Horizons section at the Venice International Film Festival. “Arcadia” is his second feature film.
