Three short films written and directed by Juho Kuosmanen: “Romu-Mattila and a Beautiful Woman” (2012), “The Moonshiners” (2017) and “A Planet Far Away” (2023). Portraying various characters, from doomed outcasts to moonshiners and a pig, the film is a tribute to silent cinema, its playfulness and vivid experience, and is about the end of everything and the extraordinary attempts to survive it.
