In Paris, in 1975, we followed the trial of Pierre Goldman (1944-1979), a Jewish far-left activist. Sentenced to life imprisonment for four armed robberies, one of which resulted in the death of two women, Goldman pleads not guilty to the murder charges. The wide press coverage on the trial transforms Goldman into a romantic figure and a hero of the intellectual left. Elusive and inconstant, the defendant throws his own trial into chaos. Based on true events.
