Jaya, a non-binary person, used to host a talk show on television, but it ended when the Philippines were hit by a natural disaster. To recover their financial life, Jaya decides to travel across the country to participate in a beauty pageant, hoping to win the prize money. Before leaving, Jaya encounters Arnel, a student that plans on traveling in the same direction, in search for his family. The unlikely duo travel miles on foot, by bike and by boat, in a trip that will change their lives forever.
Winner of the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The film was also presented at the Tribeca Film Festival.
