Sobre o filme

The sun never sets in the mystic Mandragora to light up the weird relationships of the few habitants. Peter Glahn, a political prisoner who just came out of prison, and whose name is one of the several allusions to the character created by the Norwegian author Knut Hamsun, returns home to the family’s farm, managed by his single sister. There, he sees passions turning into madness in the lives of a woman who keeps ostriches in her farm, a widow of a fisherman, a hypnotist and of the salesman Cain Ball. In this overflow of emotions, Peter finds out that his desire for a young woman grows bigger every time he witnesses the love madness of the people that surrounds him. The characters with extremely distinguished accents complete this surreal plot, of strong colors and weird ornaments created by the art direction.
