Director, screenwriter and producer born in São Paulo. He was one of those responsible for creating the TV program “Castelo Rá-Tim- Bum”, in the 1990s. At the beginning of his career, he directed the short film “Frankenstein Punk” (1986), which stood out for the large number of awards. Hamburger also directed the feature films “Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum – O Filme” (1999, 28th Mostra), “The Year My Parents Went on Vacation” (2006), winner of an jury honorable mention and the critics’ prize at the 30th Mostra, and “Xingu” (2012). On television, he was responsible for awarded series such as “Filhos do Carnaval” (2006), “Pedro e Bianca” (2012), “Família Imperial” (2012), “Cidade dos Homens” (2017) and “As Five” (2019).
