Born in Bolzano in 1975. She studied literature in Bologna and Paris, and cinema in Buenos Aires. Her first films, the documentaries “Signori Professori” (2008) and “Nadea e Sveta” (2012), were awarded at the Torino Film Festival, and explore the border between fiction and non- fiction. Her first feature film, “Maternal” (2019), was awarded at Locarno and Mar del Plata film festivals.
