He is an Independent Kurdish director based in Istanbul. Ali Konar graduated from the Marmara University Communication Faculty in Turkey in 2005. He studied Italian cinema in Rome in 2006. He had written and directed the films “Colorless Dream” (2018) and “The Dance of Ali and Mother Zin” (2021), both presented at the Istanbul Film Festival.
