Two young people living in a tribal community in the state of Jharkhand, India, are struggling for a better life and are united by the dream of a promising future. Celestina, a single mother, has filed a case against her lover with the state commission for women’s welfare, seeking justice for her daughter. The man, who runs a human trafficking scheme, uses his influence to frame Celestina in a human trafficking case. Meanwhile, affected by the economic crisis, Lawrence is forced to work as a night watchman in a society. This leads to a sudden breakup with his long-term girlfriend, whom Lawrence had been financially supporting. Lawrence meets Celestina when she comes to work at the construction site. Wrecked by their own misfortunes and hardships, they grow closer, seeking comfort, compassion, and mutual respect for each other’s aspirations.
